Yesterday I spent the day with muslin. Making several sample bodices so my youngest has the opportunity to get the best fit and style for a dress she wants me to make for her. She has a special occasion in the fall. No fabric yet, and the skirt will be the easy part. So the first step is done!
I have not used this pattern yet, but really like it. A great pattern for a fancier fabric, or a special trim.
I have used this pattern a couple of times. My daughter has one dress, I have the other. A simple wrap dress can't be beat.
This one will be a challenge. I think I will have to make the entire thing out of muslin BEFORE I cut any of the final fabric since the instructions are rather daunting. It is a retro pattern.
