Easter Extras

Our little Lulu showing her "swim do" such a cutie patootie.

Swinging on the tire swing . . . . ENDLESS fun and upper body work out for grandfather.

Our strong, handsome and wonderful son taking care of the yard that is the victim of eight or more (they do have neighbor kids) little feet.

Wonderful and patient mom helping with all the little buckles, wheels and straps.

Miss B let the kids try on a very fancy hat! Where DID those teeth go, K?

Hey, D, you crack me UP!

D getting ready to ride in Miss B's elevator. Yes, she DID let him push the button.

So all in all, the best trip ever! The kids are at that age I call the "sweet spot", the elementary years. They can manage most everything on their own, have lots of independence and abilities, can articulate their needs and basically know right from wrong and certainly for the most part show remorse when they know they have been naughty. Mostly they are NOT naughty, thank goodness. They are very well parented, in fact, a comment from Miss B's neighbor about their manners is a testament to that. They KNOW how to act and generally do. They are so fun. I know eventually the teenage attitude will begin, but for now, they are just sweet fun LITTLE kids that are a delight to know, a pleasure to spend time with and a blessing that goes far beyond my wildest dreams. Being a grandmother is a very special thing.
