They tricked us!

At the inauguration there was a string and piano ensemble out in 20 degree weather, and I did wonder how they kept their fingers warm and their instruments in tune, as weather plays havoc with sensitive instruments like that. Find out they did play, but what we were hearing was a recording from earlier! Not sure why they did it that way.

And the hat, it's sold out! So many church ladies ordered it that the fellow who designed it is out of fabric to fill orders. Apparently we will be seeing many more of these in spring, and in a variety of lovely spring colors!
