I have been wanting to make a "retro" type apron for quite a while. Now that my cookie making seems to be pretty regular and this was a good warm up project, it was a great place to start. Plus I had some pretty cute fabric and trim color to use. Might be more authentic looking if I used a more traditional 50's style fabric, but certainly not necessary. I like this stuff and it was fun to make, but took quite a bit more time than I expected. Plus a full spool of thread.

I will be baking cookies for the grand kids soon to send the week that school starts. I guess I will break it in then. Fun. I like to have fun.
