August 1 - Very Local Sewing Month/Staging

Yes, August again and a time of year I try to set aside to sew. I have plenty of fabric to keep me busy for more than a month, I am sure, but hope to make some progress in using up some of my stash. Not exactly a "stash" in my book, as each piece was purchased with a specific project in mind. It's just that some has been sitting around for . . . . years. Or given to me by my mom. 

The first day of the month is staging. My dining room looks like this! 

There wasn't much sewing except for finishing up a skirt for my sis-in-law.
